Harold Eugene Gilliam, affectionately known as Gene, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, in Silverdale, Washington, at the age of 88. Born on August 10, 1936, in California, Gene was a kind-hearted soul whose playful spirit and easy-going nature brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Gene's life was characterized by patience and generosity. He had a remarkable ability to connect with others, making everyone feel seen and valued. His warmth and compassion were foundational qualities that shaped his interactions with family and friends alike.

A talented musician, Gene found immense joy in playing the dobro, steel guitar, and banjo, often participating in Bluegrass and Country Western jam sessions.
