Hilda Parsons

passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Hospice of Kitsap County Care Center in Bremerton, Washington. She was born on March 16, 1918 in Greenwood, Arkansas to her parents Joseph and Martha Williams. She was 92 years of age. Marie was married August 1, 1943 to Sgt. Joseph B. Parsons who preceded her in death in 1973. She was a homemaker who raised her family in Ventura County, California. Marie is survived by her sister, Lucille Johnson Barnes of Kansas City, MO; her cousin, Mary Rice of Tourney, MO; her three children, James Parsons of Ventura, CA, Donna Coon of Rainier, OR and JoAnn Parsons of Washington State. She also leaves behind her six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Wayne Williams. Graveside services will be private. Interment will take place at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura, California.
