65, passed away on April 5, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. Born March 7, 1945 in Seattle, WA, Jim was the son of George and Lottie Novick (deceased).He graduated from East Bremerton High School and later enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves. After his time in the military, Jim worked as a radiological technician for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He enjoyed watching professional and high school sporting events, fishing, Bible studies and services at Faith Community Bible Church, and his family.Jim is survived by two sons, Gregg Novick of Belfair and Daniel (RandaLyn) Novick of Poulsbo; his brothers, Martin and George Novick; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea Atkinson.In a note left behind for family, Jim said, "I would like to give special thanks to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for providing me with Danny and RandaLyn's love, care, and hospitality. I would also like to thank Pastor Dan Wilson and his wife, Gloria, for their encouragement, counseling, and continued help with my spiritual growth."Services will be private.
