James Dean Streun

passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at his home in Kingston, Washington. He was born on August 30, 1961 in Coos Bay, Oregon. He was 52 years of age. James worked as a journeyman Ceiling mechanic.He loved watching his sons play baseball and rarely missed a game. He also enjoyed fishing, salmon and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Jim was a cedar weaver and carver and an awesome fish smoker.He is survived by his children: Natashe Reynolds, James R. Streun, Tyler L. Streun, grandchildren: Naomi and Izaiah all of Kingston , WA. He also leaves behind his siblings: Hearl Stice of Bremerton, Robin Stice of Shelton, Alisha Mattson of Poulsbo, John Streun of Poulsbo, Bill Streun of Lakewood and Hazel Streun of Puyallup, also Desiree, Jaspure and Sophia Harp and many loving nieces, nephews and Life long friend Melissa Streun. He was preceded in death by his parents James A. and sister Jamie Streun.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Tuesday, October 22. 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Port Gamble Tribal Center.
