James Elwood McSorley, age 84, passed away on Tuesday September 18th, 2018 at his home in Kingston, Washington.
James was born on May 14th, 1934 to the late James & Agnes (Volm) McSorley in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
After high school graduation, James enlisted in the US Army in 1952. He served a tour of duty in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1954. James worked as a telephone linesman/cable splicer, which took him to new places all over the world ranging from the state of Alaska to the African continent.
After retiring in 1997, James moved to Kingston to be near his lifelong friends who became family, the late Virginia E Ives, the late William A Raub, & their family. James became an integral member of the Ives family and a member of Little Boston S'Klallam Community.
James is survived by his S'klallam family Danno Ives & Tim Seachord, Claire Ives & AD Warner Sr., Amber & Jordan Caldera & family, Ashley Seachord & family, Victoria & Nathan Lucyk, Alexandria Portnow, and Cassandra Portnow, his McSorley family in Wisconsin, and friends near and far.
