1925-2021

Jane (Carmody) Davison died on March 25, 2021. Mrs. Davison taught for ten years in the West Hartford, Connecticut elementary schools. Prior to that, she was a sales promotion writer for Redbook Magazine and McCall's Pattern Company among other positions in merchandising and the home fashions field.

She was educated in Scarsdale, N.Y. schools, attended Lasell Junior College, Katharine Gibbs School, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University and a Masters Degree from Teachers College Columbia’ University.

Jane moved from Connecticut in 2007 and she and her husband John Alden Davison lived for ten very happy years on Bainbridge Island and was grateful for the excellent medical attention from Virginia Mason. Her husband John Alden died in 2017, as well as her sister-in-law Sue Davison Cooley.

Davison is survived by step-children Bob Davison (Kate Kimball), and Carol Fountain (Ken), niece Caroline Cooley Browne (David) from Bainbridge Island, niece Stella Carmody and many nephews in the southeast.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island.
