passed away on May 31, 2007 at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA.She was born to Edward & Irene (Fulton) Purser on March 16, 1933 and was raised at the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribal Reservation (also known as Little Boston) in Kingston. She was a member of the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe.She was married to George A. Laub on December 5, 1964.Jane worked for the Bremerton School District just preceding her death. Her favorite pasttimes were taking nice walks and playing cards. A favorite saying of hers & one her family has taken great comfort in is, "Live, Laugh, Love."Jane is survived by her husband, George A. Laub; her daughter Brenda Jacobs; her three sons Paul Gaeta, Dennis O'Connor & Ronald Laub all of Bremerton. She is also survived by her two brothers, Aaron Purser & Rude Purser; and her two sisters, Martha Charles & Ann Anderson all of Kingston. She had 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grand-children.Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Stan Purser & Bud Purser; her two sisters, Vera Anderson & Stella Carpenter; and her two daughters, Carol Murray & Maria Newell.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribal Gym in Kingston, Washington (map).Arrangements by Cook Family Funeral Home.
