Janet E. Billenstein

Janet E. Billenstein, born on June 4, 1946, in St. Albans, England passed away at her home after a long battle with cancer on October 15, 2024. She was a resident of Rolling Bay for twenty-seven years and many knew her and her many dogs, cats, chickens, and rabbits. She was an avid poster of news about anything related to the island as well as managing a FB page for the island's lost pets. Janet was proudly British: born in England, before her family moved to Canada, and finally migrating to the US by herself. She is survived by family Mandy Hudson and others in England, as well as many friends here and elsewhere. Her dogs Buddy and Gracie preceded her in death.
