Janice M. Assman

At 11:23 pm Jane passed on free from her form into the afterlife. Though she was born in Evelyth MN she was a longtime resident of WA, including North Bend, Port Townsend, and Poulsbo. Port Townsend being by far her favorite. She volunteered at Community Action Council, and worked at Employment Security, the American Legion, Hancock Street Apts. and did book-keeping for several places. She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob (Jack) E. Setnikar, and H. Leona Peterson Dibla.She is survived by her husband Elmer E. Assman, her brother, Jacob (Jake) Setnikar Sr, her sister Carol (Teena)Smith, her sons Erik V. Assman and Michael W. Jouppi, her daughter Sandi L. Cheek, granddaughters Kristin Halazon and Sarah Stuurmans, grandsons Ryan Hollingsworth and Issac Jouppi,and her great-granddaughters, Lyla Jane and Tenley May Stuurmans. The family had a private memorial on January 16th. The family would like to offer their blessings and thanks to all those that were able to share in Jane's life.
