James Stanley:
On Sunday evening, February 20, 2022, Jim Stanley, 79, passed away at his home in Silverdale, WA under the care of his daughters, Kim, Sherry & Kelly.
Jim was born February 13, 1943, in Seattle, WA to Ted & Helen Stanley. There were six children in total four sisters Judy, Pat, Donna, and Dorothy, and his brother Norman. Ted worked at Wyckoff Creosote plant operating the company tug and eventually moved the family over to Bainbridge and they were raised in a big farmhouse on acreage. Jim went on to have his own tug company, Eagle Harbor Towing, and was a respected Tugboat Captain.
Jim was a dedicated family man, father, grandparent, brother, uncle, mentor, and friend to so many. He will be missed by his family and his faithful canine companion Sarah.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife Julie in 2007, his parents, brother Norman and sisters Judy, and Donna.
At this time, services are not planned according to his wishes.
