Joe passed away on December 16, 2024, at the age of 60. He was born in Riverside County, California to Michael James and Mary Elizabeth (Marybeth) Quinn. He had two sisters, Lisa and Pamela, and one brother, Michael. His father remarried in 1980 to Maureen (Hassell) and Joe enjoyed three additional brothers, Morgan, Mason, and Mitchell.
Joe grew up in the Pacific Northwest in the states of California, Oregon, and Washington. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1982.
In 1983, Joe joined the United States Navy and served honorably as a SEAL until his retirement, 20 years later, in 2003. While in the Navy, Joe received his Bachelor of Science degree in Education – summa cum laude. After his military career, Joe served as a Seattle Firefighter from 2004 until 2017. During his firefighter career, Joe was also a consultant for A-T Solutions, a Homeland Security contractor.
On July 15, 1989, Joe married his high school sweetheart, Patti (O’Mahony). They had three boys, Riley Michael, Timothy Patrick, and Joseph Thomas. On June 20, 2015, Joe was married to Cathy Jacobi and Joe added two stepsons to his family, Noah and Dawson.
Joe is survived by both of his former wives, his stepmother Maureen, all six of his siblings, and all five of his sons.
He is preceded in death by his father Mike Quinn, and his mother, Marybeth (Quinn) Rauch.
Joe was always known for his indomitable spirit, his pursuit of adventure, his great sense of humor, and his loyalty to his country, his community, and his family and friends.

Joe will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery with honors at a date still to be determined.
