Judith A Vinson

Judith A. Vinson passed away August 26, 2022 after a long illness. She was married to husband, Utilis Vinson, for 32 years until his death in 2005. She is survived by her brother, Tom Towns, her children, Teraesa, Rachel (Chris), and Jon-Michael (Katie) and several grandchildren, including Ford, Iris, Scarlett, Vaughn, and Tilis.

Judith loved animals and cared about their welfare. Prior to her illness, she was a dedicated volunteer at Horses’ Haven in Howell, Michigan. She was predeceased by her sweet cat Mara only days before her passing. She also leaves behind her beloved horse, Casey, who was also a rescue horse.

Judith was a wonderful wife, mother, nurse, and administrator. She was resilient, relying on her faith while raising three small children while working full time and earning a doctorate in nursing. She sang joyfully off key, always ate the raw cookie dough, and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
