Jytte Tenna Andersen

Jytte Tenna Andersen passed away peacefully Tuesday evening January 29, 2019 at Liberty Shores in Poulsbo, Washington. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark July 25, 1935 she was the daughter of Kaj and Tenna (Seidelin) Eilertsen. Jytte was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bent Andersen. She is survived by her sister, Bente Christensen of Denmark, daughter Nellie Andersen and granddaughter Anneka Claudio of Bainbridge Island, WA.
As a young woman, Jytte was an athlete and competitor, enjoying swimming, gymnastics and handball, among other sports. She was an extraordinary seamstress and met Bent while working in her own tailor shop in Copenhagen. She became an accountant/bookkeeper and continued to work until she was 80 years old. She and Bent travelled to many places and ultimately lived and worked in Ireland, New York, California and Wisconsin where she worked for 43 years with her long-time good friends Mike & Mary Deutsch of Michael S. Deutsch & Associates. Jytte will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends and the many lives that she touched.
In lieu of flowers, Jytte's family asks that donations be made to Breast Cancer Research.
