Katherine Joanna Haggard

"Katie", passed away after a brief illness on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008 at the Seattle Children's Hospital in Seattle, Washington. She was born on August 3, 1994 in Virginia Beach, Virginia and was 13 years of age.Katie had recently moved from the North Kitsap area and was attending Fitch Middle School in Groton, Connecticut. She enjoyed sports, dancing, gymnastics, music and being with her family and friends. Katie was the Washington State Vault Champion for two years. She is survived by her parents; Brad and Patricia Haggard of Groton, CT, her siblings; Nathan, MaryLynn and Julia "JJ" of Groton, CT, her grandparents; Gene and Joanna Haggard of Salado, Texas and Kay Reeve of Hurricane, Utah. She also leaves behind countless loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Stephen Reeve in 2005.A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 1:00-2:45 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints- Silverdale Stake Center located at 9256 Nels Nelson Road NW, Bremerton, WA 98311. The funeral ceremony will follow at 3:00 PM also at the church. Interment will take place in Hurricane, Utah.
