Kendall Allen Everts

July 1, 1965 — August 19, 2021

Kendall Allen Everts passed on quietly in his home, on Bainbridge Island, Washington, on August 19, 2021. He is survived by his spouse, Sally; and as a loving father he is survived by his daughter Amber Holland (Curnow) and her husband Stephen Holland and grandchildren: Maira, Aine, Aidan, Brendan, and Ronon; and family members: his parents, Sandra Money (Mortensen) and Greg Money, and sister Kim McCole, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kris Everts and his biological father William Allen Everts. He loved and cared greatly for all his family.

Ken always had a passion for all types of construction, home building and remodeling. He enjoyed sharing stories about building salmon hatcheries, portable buildings, and pouring his first concrete slab as a high school student at Stanford High School. Since then he has been in the construction business for about 35 years, working for various contractors and companies, and in his own business about 20 years, Everts Construction LLC, where he greatly enjoyed working with all construction colleagues and employees. He offered a comprehensive range of services tailored to the home owner's needs working creatively, energetically, and positively with them to bring out the most gorgeous home remodel possible. He loved to do things right. His website http://www.evertsconstruction.com/index.html shows examples of work on various projects including his own home.

Ken created an oasis for his family on Bainbridge Island where he loved to watch and feed the birds and squirrels, and enjoy other wildlife. Ken had a strong faith in Christianity and Jesus Christ. He brought an incredible and wonderful talent to every project he tackled, bringing beauty, harmony, and order. His work was his life and he invested himself in every project to the fullest. We know that he would love to be remembered by all the good qualities he shared with everyone, and we all miss him so very much.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island, WA.
