Larry A Sola

Larry Arnold Sola, 78, of Bainbridge Island, WA., passed away peacefully on Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Bremerton Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bremerton, WA. Born in Bremerton, Larry was the son of the late Arnold E. and Judith (Olsen) Sola. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Bainbridge Island where Larry would spend the vast majority of his life.

Larry was well known in town. He would often be seen riding his bike all over and is remembered as being a kind and caring person who was always willing to lend a hand. Larry didn't have much in the way of family and the few who do survive him live in Norway. But he did have a loving church family at Port Madison Lutheran Church who cared for him very much. Many times they would sing Happy Birthday to Larry and it would always result in bringing him to tears of joy.

Due to his challenges, Larry never worked for a big company or a local business, but his contributions to his community were far more than most. His kindness and care for others and his willingness to help anyone in need made his community a better place and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Larry will be laid to rest with his beloved parents on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 1:00 pm in the Kane Cemetery 9964 NE Lafayette Avenue Bainbridge Island with the Reverend Ron Hoyum presiding.
