Lee R. Strandberg

passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at his home in Kingston, Washington.He was born on August 22, 1954 in Spokane, Washington and live there until the age of 13 when he moved with his mother to Bainbridge Island. He was 61 years of age. Lee graduated from Bainbridge Island High School and retired from the Washington State Ferries. He was a United States Navy veteran.Lee was loved by all who knew him. His generosity, humor and fun spirit were contagious. He love to go camping, gardening and be a "Mr. Fixit". He enjoyed cars and telling stories. The family would want everyone to know how much he enjoyed sharing his life with you and to remember the good times.He is survived by his wife Sandra Strandberg and children Sierra Strandberg and Gray Strandberg of Kingston, Washington. He also leaves behind his stepson Mike Morello (Jennie) of Kingston, Washington, granddaughter Jade Morello, sibling Ken Strandberg of Spokane, Washington. Lee also leaves behind many wonderful family members and friends, young and old from Washington and beyond.
