Linda Jeanne Purser

passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at The Messenger House on Bainbridge Island, Washington. She was born on November 1, 1951 and was 66 years of age.Linda was selfless. She loved helping others and placed others before herself. She was passionate for her family. Her children and grandchildren were always her top priority and no one could change that.She enjoyed helping her community. She did more for the people of the Port Gamble Tribe than could be repaid.Linda is survived by her children: Carlton and Lenard Cook, Tara and Rose Purser, Benjamin Purser, Jr., daughter-in-law Sachane Cook, brother Tony Blackledge and grandchildren; Alyssa Cook, Conner Cook, Titan Purser, Xavier Purser and Dwayne Hopper. She also leaves behind many other loving family and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Leon Purser.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM at The Port Gamble Tribal Gym.
