Lori Ann Nystrom-Fischer, 58, of Tacoma, Washington passed away quietly surrounded by her loving family on Saturday December 28, 2019 in St. Joseph's Medical Center in Tacoma. Born in Bremerton, she is the daughter of Gunnar, Jr., and Ruth Ann (Purser) Nystrom.
Lori grew up in Bremerton and graduated from West Bremerton High School where she was a talented member of the gymnastics team. After her graduation, Lori moved back to Tacoma and spent time travelling which she truly enjoyed. She would remain in Tacoma for most of her life. Lori was employed as a private in home caregiver and was a proud member of the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe.
Preceded in death by her 2 loving brothers Gunnar and Jeff Nystrom, Lori is survived by her beloved mother and stepfather Ann and Dan Anderson, loving brothers and sisters; Lowell and Alan Nystrom, Tommy Doleman, Kim and Sandy Nystrom, and Stephanie Dahlberg. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins also survive her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her service on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribal Center 31912 Little Boston Road NE Kingston, WA 98346 where a viewing will be offered from 10:00 am.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island.
