Margaret Terry Red Evans, a devotee of home and heart, gifted our world with her presence on February 11, 1953, in the vibrant city of Washington, District of Columbia. She was predeceased by her loving husband Tilghman Boyd Evans, an engineer and inventor, with whom she made a happy home on Bainbridge Island.
Terry is survived by her sister Josephine Red of Riner, VA; as well as many close and caring friends in the Bainbridge Island Community and beyond. A friend to the environment, animals and wildlife of all kinds, she loved a walk in the woods, or a cuddle with her cat Rosie. She always enjoyed the Mike Brooks, King FM classical music program as well.
Terry transitioned from this life on August 25, 2024, within the caring walls of a hospital in Silverdale, leaving behind a legacy defined by love and unwavering dedication to those fortunate enough to know her.
Arrangements entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island, WA. Margaret will be interned in the Red Family Garden at the First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, NC.
