Marguerite Kaivo

88 passed away at her home in Kingston, WA on May 31, 2010.The daughter of Ellsworth and Bertha (Hansen) Fulk, Margo was born in Chehalis, WA on October 6, 1921. She graduated from high school in 1939 in Albany, Oregon and graduated from nurses training from Emmanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon in 1943. She worked as a registered nurse for 40 years retiring from Swedish Hospital in Seattle in 1983. Margo married Lawrence W. Kaivo in Vancouver, WA in 1946.Margo was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence W. Kaivo in 2004. She is survived by her son, Lawrence W. Kaivo Jr. (Diann) of Kingston, daughter Anne Wright (Tim) of Santa Barbara, CA; and grandchildren Trent Kaivo of Shoreline, WA, Morgan Kaivo of Seal Beach, CA, Jason Oak of Eureka, CA, Alesha Oak of Brooklyn, NY, Dustin Oak of SeaTac, WA, Jay (Rosie) Wright, Jesse Wright and Dylan Wright of Santa Barbara, CA.Margo lived the last four years with her son (Larry) and daughter-in-law (Diann) in Kingston having spent the prior 56 years in Shoreline, WA. She was an avid reader and always had a book she was working on. She also loved flowers (especially roses) and enjoyed gardening. She was a very gracious lady who loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed.An Open House/Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on June 19, 2010 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the home of Larry and Diann Kaivo of Kingston.
