Marian R. Burgett

78, of Bainbridge Island, WA passed away at Island Health and Rehabilitation on Thursday, January 8, 2009. She was born in Seattle, WA on August 29, 1930, the only child of John and Marian E. (Coe) Reccheo. She grew up in Port Orchard and graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1950. She married Wayne G. Burgett on October 29, 1950, at the First Christian Church in Port Orchard, WA. They lived in Port Orchard and then farmed in Othello, WA and had two daughters, Loretta, born in 1953, and Susan, born in 1955. She later resided in Bremerton, WA. She had been a secretary and a homemaker. She enjoyed cats and working on crafts. She is survived by her daughters, Loretta (Daniel) Brooks of Wenatchee, WA and Susan (Richard) Buchanan of Wenatchee, WA; and grandchildren, Jennifer (Erik) Scott, Charlotte Brooks, Wayne Buchanan and Robert Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home on Bainbridge Island, WA. Interment took placed at Miller Woodlawn in Bremerton,WA.
