65, of Poulsbo, Washington died on her birthday December 15, 2007 in Seattle, Washington.She was born on December 15, 1942 in Seattle to Raymond and Shirley Hansen of Bainbridge Island, WA. She graduated from Bainbridge Island High School and was soon married to Allan Bowman of Poulsbo. They had three children. She was re-married in 1984 to Russell D. Kelsey in Redmond, WA. They spent most of their time together working in Alaska and eventually owned their own Cab Company in Dutch Harbor.Marie's greatest joys were her children and grandchildren, also being outdoors, fishing with Russell and cooking for everyone.She is survived by her children, Ken Bowman of Kingston, WA, Jeff and Kelly of Poulsbo, WA, Dawn Bowman of Seattle, WA, two grandchildren; Tucker and Cashmere and also a sister Anita Armstrong of Bainbridge Island.She was preceded in death by her husband Russell in 1995, her brothers Bill Hansen of Poulsbo, WA, Sonny Hansen of Belfair, WA, and two sisters; Karen Andrews and Evelyn Peterson both of Bainbridge Island.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Reception at the Bainbridge Island Commons on Saturday, January 5, 2008 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, 370 Brien Drive SE in Winslow [Map].Arrangements entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home.
