Mark Wallace Nelson

passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington. He was born on December 1, 1968 and was 49 years of age. Mark had an incredible sense of humor and enjoyed making others smile. He was a loving husband and father that will be missed dearly. Mark enjoyed playing the guitar and biking. He was proud of biking from Seattle to Portland. He enjoyed surfing in San Diego and playing golf with his friends and children. Mark loved the Washington Redskins, Nascar and playing gin rummy with his wife. He had a very strong work ethic and was proud of growing his department during his eleven years at Perkins Cole.Mark is survived by his spouse Laura Rynberg Nelson, children Michael Austin and Andrew Ronald Nelson, mother Patricia Mae Nelson, sister Kristin (Chris) Glenfeldt, nephew Brian Austin Nelson, brother Raymond (Tina) Rynberg, niece Audrey Rynberg, nephew Trevor Rynberg and mother-in law Karen Rynberg. He also leaves behind the family puppy, Maggie Mae. He was preceded in death by his father Austin William Nelson and father in law Ronald Melvin Rynberg.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Saint Cecilia Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island.
