Mary Shirley Barnett

died peacefully on March 28, 2017 in Virginia Mason Medical Center, Seattle, WA.Shirley was born in Pittsfield, Maine to Ernest and Regina Shirley on November 4, 1926. She graduated from Higgins Classical Institute in Charleston, Maine and also graduated from The New England Hospital for Women and Children as a registered nurse in Boston, Massachusetts.She married Webster Gesner Barnett on September 10,1949. They have four children: Andrew, Stephen, Rebecca Barnett Campbell and Elizabeth Barnett; Five grand children and two great grandchildren.Mary welcomed each individual with a warm and gracious heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She served her church family and community through volunteer efforts. Mary had a zest for travel and was fortunate to see many ports of call.
