Matthew R. Wheaton

of Little Boston, WA, passed away September 9, 2011, in a tragic car accident. Matthew grew up on Bainbridge Island, WA, and graduated from Bainbridge High. He attended Linfield College in Oregon for two years. Matthew spent most of his life playing soccer and he loved it like no other. He later moved back and met his fiancée Jenny Fulton and her three children, Kendra, Kiana, and Nissie Jones. They were to be married September 17, 2011.Matthew is survived by his mother, Dea Sapiro of WA; father, Robert Wheaton Jr of CA; brothers Nick Sapiro of Los Angeles, CA, David Wheaton, of Phoenix, AZ, Tony Wheaton, of California; grandmother Rita Wheaton of Arizona; and many many friends. He was preceeded in death by his maternal grandparents Dorothy and Alva Sapiroand grandfather Robert O Wheaton Sr. Matt touched the lives of everyone he met, and everyone he met will miss him deeply. He always had a smile on his face and would give anything up for someone else in greater need of it. He was put on this earth to make everyone he met laugh and smile.Services will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at the Little Boston Tribal Center at 1 p.m. in Kingston, WA.Arrangements entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home.
