All the family and extended family and friends were extremely important to her right up to the end. Although the last couple of months were perhaps the most difficult of her life, she often spoke the clearest she had in years. It was very refreshing for those of us that had the opportunity to visit her. Her activities of the past were highlighted. Bowling and bridge playing with the ladies. Hiking, traveling, and life with her husband, Bob and all of the extended family. She was an active member of Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church, as well as PEO. Her greatest joy was playing tennis with Lynne, watching Bob, Jr. and Ron play baseball or football, and then watching and coaching the grandchildren in their sports and activities. Her sister's (Lorraine's) children always held a special part in her heart. She loved preparing great meals and getting family and friends together at their home on Battle Point. She loved to garden and took great pride in the many beautiful Rhododendrons they grew in their gardens. Her life was highlighted with great friends who completed her life as well. Private family services will be held.
