Melissa Linn Snyder

passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. She was born on September 14, 1972 in Bellingham, WA to Denis L. Snyder and Mary K. Hoffmann. She grew up on Bainbridge Island and graduated from Bainbridge High School. She was 38 years of age. Melissa enjoyed working with children, loved flowers and was the world's best Mom. She was a gourmet cook and caregiver. Melissa loved music and was very involved in the Bainbridge community. She is survived by her daughter Taylor Cozine of Bainbridge Island, parents Mary Hoffmann (Michael) of Bainbridge Island, father Denis Snyder (Ruth) of Olympia, WA and her sister Erika Snyder of Seattle, WA. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church on Bainbridge Island. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Taylor's trust account at Edward Jones, 213 Madison Avenue North, Suite 200, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110.
