Michael John Hoffmann

72, of Bainbridge Island, Washington, passed away on April 7, 2016 at his home.Michael was born in Bremerton, Washington to Reuben and Mary Hoffmann on June 27, 1943. He was a graduate of Bremerton High School. He went on to Olympic College and was drafted during his time there. Michael was an Army veteran and spent two tours in Viet Nam. He retired from Centurylink after 32 years with the various telephone companies that preceded it. Michael was a great cook and loved to vacation in Paris and Hawaii.Michael is survived by his wife, Mary; sister, Maryann Littrell; daughters, Darla Landes, Erika Snyder, Sara Faughn; and 3 granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Melissa Snyder.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Hoffmann residence.
