Michael Joseph Woldberg, a long time resident of Silverdale, WA, passed away on September 6th, 2022 at the age of 64. He was a Navy veteran, retired after 20 years, 40 years total government service. He is survived by his wife, Malou, his two daughters, Christina and Valerie, his two granddaughters, Vivian and Emmalyn, soon-to-be grandson, his two sons-in-law, Andy Meyer and Matt Morrell, and his sister, Kathy Layton.
Michael was born in Garden Grove, California on December 15th, 1957 to Alvin Robert Woldberg and Edna Marie Woldberg. He spent his childhood in Provo, Utah. Michael enlisted in the United States Navy on July 1st, 1981 and retired on October 10th, 2001. He continued to serve as a government employee in the civilian sector at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard until he retired in June 2020. Michael was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a hard worker, worshiped God, and loved his wife and girls with all his heart. He enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his motorcycles, grilling, listening to hard rock and playing the guitar.

Michael’s final resting place will be at Fort Worden Post Cemetery at a later date. It will be a private family event.
