was born Oct. 4, 1922 in Alsen, NY and died April 10, 2009 on Bainbridge Island, WA. Naomi was a beloved and loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother. She graduated with a BS in Chemistry from Michigan State University and on June 17, 1944 married John N. ("Jack") McKnight. They had five children: Marguerite, Kathleen, Barbara (Glenn West), Patrick (deceased), and David. Naomi's professional life included work as an auditor for major hotel chains. She was a Girl Scout leader and most enjoyed being with family and friends and reading. After Jack died July 17, 1975, Naomi pursed an MLS at the University of Michigan which she received in 1979 while continuing to raise David and work. Her hobbies included quilting, crocheting, knitting, camping, and crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Naomi made great pies! She lived most of her life in Michigan, primarily in Dearborn. Naomi was also preceded in death by her parents Webster L. and Laurel C. Kaiser; brother Webster L., Jr.; and sister Marguerite Warg. She is also survived by granddaughters Meghan and Leah; great-grandson Samuel Nelsen; brother Elbert (Beverly) Kaiser; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The memorial service will be private
