Pauline Judy Blair

Pauline Judy Blair of Poulsbo, Washington, passed away due to natural causes on October 3, 2022. She was 81.


Judy was born on August 24, 1941, to Dorothy and John Roach in Billings, Montana. After graduating from Columbus High School in 1959, she went on to study nursing at Sisters of Charity School of Nursing of Carroll College.


After graduation, she started her nursing career as a Registered Nurse at St. James Hospital in Butte, Montana. Judy practiced many types of nursing throughout her long career, including hospital bedside nursing, family practice, industrial nursing, home health care, and in later years she worked as a Utilization Review Administrator. Judy was certified as an RN Case Manager.


In 1960 she met Paul Blair, and they married in 1962. They had two children and many adventures in the US and abroad. After retiring, Judy spent many happy hours with her family, playing with her grandchildren, and tending to her garden.


Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Joan Sigler, and her brother John Roach. She is survived by her husband Paul, her daughters Kate Blair Nack and Laura Blair-Gano, her grandchildren Emily Gano, Paul Gano, and Rowan Gano, as well as many nephews and nieces.


Relatives and friends are invited to Pauline's graveside service on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Poulsbo Municipal Cemetery 20002 Caldart Avenue NE Poulsbo, WA. 98370. Family requests all guest wear casual attire. A wake will follow the service at The Islander Restaurant 403 Madison Avenue N Suite 140 Bainbridge Island, WA 98110
