Peggy Chase

of Bainbridge Island passed away on November 1st at the age of 72.Born April 4th 1945 to Claire and Warren Wilkie in Tacoma Wa. Upon graduating from Aquinas Academy (Bellarmine Prep) in 1960 Peggy enrolled in the UW nursing program and worked at Saint Joseph's Hospital until she married in 1969. She raised 3 children in the 70s and 80s while being an avid Reader, Gardener, Equestrian, Boat Enthusiast, and started a Preschool in Port Orchard.In the 90s she opened an Adult Family Home which she ran for 14 years. In the 2000s she traveled to dozens of countries on 6 different continents. She was a true Catholic who lived her life by the Golden Rule. She was a loving and caring Daughter, Spouse, Mother, and Friend.She is survived by her Daughter Robin O'Flaherty (Spouse Noel O'Flaherty) her Sons Riley Chase (Spouse Jennifer Fetterplace) , Jason Chase. Grandchildren Xander O'Flaherty and Gabriella Chase. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peggy's honor to your local Helpline, Women Shelter, or just give someone a hug.Funeral Services are pending.
