Peter F. Wiedemann

Peter Wiedemann, a beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully, at the age of 85, on May 2nd, 2024. Born in Seattle, WA on April 24, 1939, to parents Paul and Catherine (Franzen) Wiedemann, Peter was the older brother to one sister, Gretchen. After graduating from Lincoln High School in Seattle, Peter earned his mechanical engineering degree from Washington State University. After three years serving in the US Navy, he enjoyed a successful and rewarding engineering career for 38 years with the same company, CH2MHill. Peter's lifelong passion was running, having completed many marathons, including a very prestigious one in Boston. He also loved traveling by train, puzzles, wine, and volunteer work that utilized his gift as a skilled carpenter. But more than anything, Peter enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, especially at their Bainbridge Island home. Peter is preceded in death by his first wife Priscilla (Pipe), sister Gretchen (Schille), and son Jeffrey. He is survived by his wife Patti (Haven), son Mark, step-daughters Kathy and Dana Reeves, and Kim and Curt Pence.
