passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Martha and Mary Health Care Services in Poulsbo, Washington. He was born on September 9, 1919 in Toledo, Ohio and was 94 years of age.Ralph graduated from Toledo Central High in 1938. He lettered in basketball, played baseball and other sports, and was an avid golfer. He was a WWII Navy disabled veteran and was employed at Champion spark plug for 30 years in the racing division making spark plugs for the Indy 500 races. Ralph retired at 55 until moving to Bainbridge Island in 2002 to be near his daughter, Jill Jepson.Ralph is survived by his daughters Jill Jepson (Steve)of Bainbridge Island and Lynne Stockwell of Tallahasse, Florida, and six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. No services will be held. Ralph and his wife Florence will be laid to rest at Ottawa Hills Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio. Please sign the online Guest Book for the family.
