passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at his home in Indianola, Washington. He was born on March 6, 1950 in Burbank, California and was 63 years of age. He worked at Eaz-Lift Co. as a forge operator for 35 years. Richard later moved with his family to Washington. He worked at the Clearwater Casino as a Suquamish Tribal Member for fifteen years, working his way from dealer to supervisor of table games. He was a proud tribal elder and enjoyed learning about customs and traditions.Richard is survived by his wife Lillian Luedtke who he married in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1977. He is also survived by his sons Thomas and John. He also leaves behind his grandchildren; Thomas Jr., Nikolas, Gage and most precious Gavin who lives with the family and was very close to his "Grampie". He also had two great-grandchildren, Thomas III and Oliver. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Zelia Luedtke and brother Robert.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 1:00 PM at The Suquamish House of Awakened Culture in Suquamish, WA.
