Richard Russell Fulton was born on August 3rd, 1952. He was born in Bremerton, Washington to Russell Fulton Jr. and Alice Vivian Fulton (George). He passed away on December 21st, 2024, at the age of 72 years old. Richard grew up in the Pacific Northwest in Washington state. He graduated from Chemawa High School in 1971. He grew up and lived in Little Boston, Washington. He worked for Pope & Talbot Inc, as a crane operator in his younger years and moved on to work on the water commercial fishing and diving. He enjoyed being out on the water or out in the woods hunting and fishing. The wilderness was his domain, he knew everything there was from hunting, fishing, gathering, and providing for his family. He was an extremely hard-working man.

Richard is survived by both his life partner Janet Morgan and former wife Melodie Johnstone; seven of his siblings Jeff, Christy, Alan, Donald, Arnold, and Donna; all three of his children Shannon, Cheri, Lindsey, son-in-law Brad Ives and daughter-in-law Dana Seevers; His seven grandchildren Elin, Abby, Trinity, Dayla, Raiden, Aria, and Rylie.

He is preceded in death by his father Russell Fulton Jr., his mother Alice (Fulton) George; his two siblings Robert Fulton, and Marilyn Ives (Fulton); his grandfather Russell Fulton Sr. and grandmother Daisy (Fulton) Day.

There will be a Private viewing for Family Members, and Richard's closest friends on Friday, December 27th, 2024 @ 11 am – 2 pm at Cook Family Funeral Home in Bainbridge Island, WA. A Celebration of Life will be held for Richard on January 8th at the S’Klallam House of Knowledge @ 11 am, followed by a meal provided by the family.
