Robert Shearer Jouret, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on May 31, 2024, at the age of 75. He was born on April 10, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA to Gene and Jean Jouret. Robert is survived by his loving wife Georgia, children Michelle (Brett), Eric (Laura), and Mark (Akanksha), grandchildren Jackson, Brian, Emmett, Everett, and Kaylan, and sister Barbara.
Robert excelled on the high school football field, earning a full scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh, where he was joined by Georgia who earned a spot on the cheerleading squad. Ultimately, an injury cut his career short, but started him down a course in business where he was even more accomplished. He earned his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, became a CPA, and went on to a successful career, culminating in his role as the General Auditor of The Boeing Company before his retirement in 2008. However, his greatest joy in life came from spending time with his family. He particularly enjoyed taking his loved ones on football trips to Pittsburgh, going to see the Clippers play, and golfing with friends and family.
In addition to his passion for family and sports, Robert contributed his time and talents to the community, particularly with his work as the Treasurer for Hotline of Southern California, an organization that provided support to those in crisis. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and strong work ethic. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Gene and Jean, and his brother Ed. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever. May he rest in peace.
