Robert Lewis

passed away on Monday, November 9, 2009 at his home on Bainbridge Island, Washington. He was born on April 9, 1944 to Avanelle Vera Lewis and Kenneth Leslie Lewis. He was 65 years of age. Robert lived in Tacoma, WA and Portland, Oregon, graduating from Franklin High School in 1961. He went on to graduate from The University of Puget Sound in 1965 with a degree in Political Science. He met his wife Betsy Larkin in Denver, Colorado. They married in 1967, and lived in San Francisco, California and Tacoma,WA, eventually moving to Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. Robert worked in finance throughout his career. He started at Dean Witter, then First Interstate and ICM Asset Management. He semi-retired in 2005 and went to work at Eagle Harbor Asset Management. He enjoyed travel, wine-tasting, dinners, fishing, reading and boating. Robert was Preceded in death by his mother, Avanelle Groves Clemenson and his aunt, Grayce Winchester. He is survived by his wife Betsy Lewis and his daughters Wynne and Meredith Lewis. At Robert's request, no services will be held.
