Rosalie Euchner

passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Island Health and Rehabilitation on Bainbridge Island, Washington. She was born on July 31, 1943 and was 70 years of age.Rosie was a graduate of Bainbridge Island High school in 1961 & a graduate of Yakima Valley College in 1964. She was a Registered Nurse & worked for 40 years with Virginia Mason in Seattle, WA.Rosie was an avid reader & volunteered several hours of her time to the "friends of the library". She enjoyed the 5th avenue Theater, the Bainbridge Performing Arts, and Improv dinners with friends and above all loved spending time with her grandchildren.Rosie is survived by Heidi & Dan Pickering, Holly & Robert Downey, Her 5 Grandchildren: Kaitlin Mainwaring, Juliet Stanwood, Allison Mainwaring, Ella Downey & Marissa Pickering, Her two sisters, Cary Chamberlin & Betty Kossen, Several Nieces & Nephews: Lisa Chamberlin, Mark Chamberlin, Rene Grove, Darren Kossen & Kyle Kossen, Lori Strege, Brian Strege & Tom Strege. Rosie is preceded in death by her Husband Karl Euchner & her parents Bert & Ethel Walberg. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the graveside service on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 10 AM at Port Blakely cemetery on Bainbridge Island. There will also be a Memorial Service held on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 2PM at Grace Episcopal Church on Bainbridge Island. Arrangements through Cook Family Funeral Home.
