Ross O. Berganio

passed away, with his loving family by his side, on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at his home in Mount Lake Terrace, Washington. He was born on September 25, 1958 in Seattle, Washington and was 52 years of age. Ross was a former resident of Bainbridge Island, WA and was a member of the Filipino American Community of Bainbridge Island and the surrounding vicinity. He graduated from Bainbridge Island High School in 1976. After graduation Ross moved to Seattle to work in the seafood industry. He then made a career working in the construction industry. Ross enjoyed cars, collecting Nike shoes, baseball hats and watching sports with his best friend, Jeffrey, at their favorite bar. He is survived by his mother Felicidad O. Berganio of Bainbridge Island, siblings; Julie A. Berganio (Tracy) of Shoreline, WA, Brenda M. Diaz (Conrado) of Bainbridge Island, Donna Ishii (Chris) of Medina, WA, nephews Aaron and Trent Ishii of Medina, WA and his favorite niece Jessica M. Diaz of Seattle, WA. He was preceded in death by his father Rosendo G. Berganio. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Monday, December 6, 2010 from 5-6 pm, followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 6 pm at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island, Washington. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 7th at 10 am at the church. Interment will follow at Seabold Cemetery on Bainbridge Island with a reception afterwards at the church's Conger Hall. Please sign the online Guest Book for the family.
