Ruth Mary Skelton

longtime Bainbridge Island resident, passed away on July 18, 2010 at Wyatt House Retirement Center at the age of 89.She was born on December 16, 1920 in Chehalis, Washington to Thomas and Mathilda Kolash. She graduated Chehalis High School in 1940. Ruth married Rellen O. Skelton in LaJolla, California in November 1944. She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Tillie, brothers Fritz and Bob Kolash, her husband Rellen Skelton and granddaughter Corey Skelton. Ruth is survived by her loving son's Garry Skelton (Cindy), Greg Skelton (Diane) and Rick Skelton (Lisa), her five grandchildren, Garth, Sarah, Casey, Stephanie and Garrett, and her two great-grandchildren, Ruby and June. The family thanks the incredible staff at the Wyatt House Retirement Center for the outstanding care and support they provided during Ruth's last weeks. A family service will be held at Kane Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Group Health Hospice.
