Sharon passed away March 6, 2025.

She was born June 9, 1944 to Anne Ruth Strobeck and George David Strobeck, Sr.

Sharon graduated in 1962 from Bainbridge High School.

She married her current husband Robert on August 20, 1988, and was previously married to Morris Komedal.

Sharon’s interests included serving as a cheerleader during high school, studying ballet, and she advanced to leadership roles in the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. She enjoyed cooking, baking, camping, and caring for others. She worked at preschools, and established and operated her own daycare for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, several cousins, son-in-law Don Schwartz, and many cherished pets.

Sharon is survived by her husband Robert, daughters Kristen Schwartz (Bill Sprinkle) and Jennifer Standish (David), grandson Patrick Standish, brother George David Strobeck, Jr, sister-in-law Sandra Carter, and many beloved nieces & nephews.

In honor of her wishes there will be no service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to PAWS of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap.
