Steven D. Hodgin was born on October 30, 1959 and died August 22, 2022. Steve was born in Seattle and lived his entire life in the Pacific Northwest. Steve was a huge football fan and enjoyed putting together a family & friends fantasy football league every year. Steve was a passionate koi fish enthusiast with many koi ponds at his home in Poulsbo. He belonged to an online koi fish club called Koiphen, where he cultivated many friendships and held various positions on their board. He very much enjoyed being a part of this club. He also enjoyed flying his drone and restoring his boat. He made the most of his early retirement from Centurylink, where he’d worked since 1978,and loved spending time with family and friends. Steve is survived by his two sons, Chris Hodgin (Amber) and Matthew Hodgin (Blythe) and grandchildren, Jesse and Dakota Hodgin, also Joy Hodgin and extended family, Hallie Hodgin Hall, Emelie Hodgin and Ethan Hodgin. Steve is also survived by his mother, Kaye Stites (Howard), sisters, Deb Webb (Dwayne), Jo Watkins (Lee), Karen Lindsey (Bob) and stepmother, Lorna Hodgin, as well as nieces, aunts, and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Hodgin.
Family & friends are invited to please join us in celebrating Steve’s life on Sunday, October 30th at 1:00pm at the retired Suquamish Tribal Center, 15838 Sandy Hook Rd NE, Poulsbo, WA 98370.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island.
