Stonechild "Stoney" Chiefstick was born November 29, 1979 in Seattle, Washington to Diane Charlie and the late Clement Chiefstick. He was enrolled in the Chippewa Cree Tribe in Rocky Boy, MT. On July 3, 2019 Stoney was tragically taken from us too soon in Poulsbo, WA.
He is survived by his children: Kierra, Alana, Stonechild Jr., Kane, and Lilyana, his stepchildren: Ohitika and Silas, his Mother Diane, his siblings: Laverna, Chris, Celina, and Vincea. Grandmothers, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nephews, Nieces and Friends also survive him.
Stonechild "Stoney" Chiefstick was a kindhearted person who saw the best in everyone. He would never hesitate to help anyone whether it be a helping hand or to comfort them. Stoney loved being around family and friends and enjoyed walks to the lake. He knew how to put a smile on your face with his jokes; even if you weren't in the mood.
Stoney loved his music from Oldies to Rap and even some Country (he'd deny it though). He loved basketball and it was on the court that you would see Stoney in his element. He loved his food and especially Indian Tacos and BBQ's at the lake.
Stoney will be missed by all who knew him and we all will cherish the memories we have with him along with his warm presence.
