Virginia A. Cherry

Virginia Cherry, known as Jean, a resident of Bainbridge Island Washington, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2020.  Jean was born in Nutley. New Jersey on June 9, 1930, and spent most of her life in Middletown, New Jersey where she had many long time friends and worked as an insurance broker.  She was predeceased by her husband Jack Cherry in 1997.  Jean relocated to the west coast and lived in the San Francisco Bay area before moving to Washington state in 2015.  She leaves behind her daughters Lynn Heath (Jon Heath) and Eileen Cherry (Galvin Devore) , her sister Lois Banks, and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Her family wishes to express their gratitude to Multicare Hospice and the staff of Madrona House for the compassionate care that they provided Jean.
