of Bainbridge Island, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at his home. He was 79 years of age.Warren was born on December 12, 1925 and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1945 and the University of New Mexico in 1951 where he pledged Pi Kappa Alpha; in 1965 he received a graduate degree from Northwestern University, Graduate School of Trust and Banking. Returning to Hawaii in 1951, he worked at Hawaiian Telephone Co., HMSA, and started the Industrial Nursing Service and Hawaii Ambulance Service. From 1965-1984, he rose through the ranks of Bishop Trust Co., Ltd. To senior vice president. Unable to fully retire, he became a Trustee of the Parker Ranch on the "Big Island" of Hawaii until his retirement in 1999.Warren served as a Director of 20 companies, including Big Save Inc., Eleele Assoc., Inc, on Kauai, Kaupo ranch on Maui, Hawaii Meat Co., Lucy Hendriques Medical Center, & the YMCA of Hawaii.Warren is survived by his wife, Shirley Murdoch Gunderson; his son Jay Gunderson and Jay's wife, Bozena, of Livermore, CA; daughters Norma L. Harvey and Norma's husband Roger of Gilbert, AZ, Katie Cooper and Andrew Kauai of Kamuela, Hawaii along with his Granddaughters Marysia and Brittney Gunderson and his grandsons Wesley and Ty Kauai.Services will be private.
