William Reese

passed away peacefully at his home on Bainbridge Island at the age of 70 on New Year's Eve 2007.Bill Reese was born on February 6 1937 in Providence, Rhode Island to Bertha Irene and William A. Reese. After finishing high school, Bill enlisted in the USAF (1954-1958), attended Cerritos College in Southern California (1958-1960) and graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington (1962). Bill married his college sweetheart (Janet Catherine O'Keefe) in 1963 and attended Hastings Law School in California until 1964.Bill was a manager for Traveler's Insurance Corporation from 1966-1986 and became an insurance executive and part of the ownership team of National Insurance Professionals (NIPC) in Poulsbo, Washington from 1986 to 2006, before retiring last year.Bill Reese is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Janet, three children (Andy 43, Lacey 40 and Allison 37) and four grandchildren (Zachary 18, Jake 16, Hannah 15, and Kolby 6).Family and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the Recitation of the Rosary on Friday, January 4, 2008 at 6:30 PM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 1310 Madison Avenue North on Bainbridge Island [Map]. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 9:00 AM also at the church. Interment will follow at Port Blakely Cemetery [Directions].Memorial donations may be made to Kitsap Hospice Association.Arrangements entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home.
